    The first twenty feet I probably spread the seed too thick, but once you get the right rhythm, it works perfectly.

    Great spreader. Im kinda tall so a longer strap would be cool but other than that it spreads well. and the list on the settings is perfect.

    I have PTO spreader for my tractor that I use to spread lime and fertilizer. I prefer this spreader for planting and spreading seed. Its a bit more work but i have better control over seed when spreading..

    Used it once so far and it was great. Had trouble getting clover seed out at smallest setting but soon was coming out too much. More user error than the product. The bag holds lots of seed which is nice.

    I recently purchased and tried this spreader with some Imperial whitetail Edge & Tall Tine Tubers in my first deer plot. It has just sprouted and the coverage was very good. I wasn't particularly satisfied with the amount of seed recommended to disperse and applied it more heavily but am very pleased so far with the results. I will have to review further when more results are seen.

    I have not used a hand spreader in nearly 50 years. This one worked. Had I more experience, it may have received a 5 star rating. If I could suggest an improvement, have the bag completely removable for cleaning.

    Perfect for small plots

    If you are putting small plots in tight areas, and can not get your equipment in this spreader is ideal seed settings are labeled on the spreader taking the guess work out of how much seed to put down. I walked about 10 feet to see how wide the throw was then used steaks to mark out the plot to avoid over seeding an area to much. Does well with granular fertilizers and granular lime. Just be sure to rinse it well and hang to dry. I have used to for seeds as small as radish and as large as Oats
