Best forage in PA for Winter months ever seen

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Jul 2017

We have a farm in a valley in Central PA. There are many different ranges of crops around so you could say the deer definitely get their buffet during summer months. However during winter months, not much is around other than the acorn crop so we decided to plant WINTERGREENS and it is the best thing we've ever done to not only help out the deer herd during harsh winter months, but improve the overall deer we see during winter and even late fall. The description is very accurate. Says what it does, and does what it says. Its why I rate it 5 of 5 stars. The deer didn't touch it during the first month or two it was growing, and we had a relatively mild winter as far as central PA goes, but our first real heavy frost was about November 2nd. and as soon as that happened the deer began annihilating the WINTERGREENS. I tried telling myself that, even when I hunted the late season during January, that the amount of not only does, but several age groups of bucks while hunting was because of our plot-However, the camera we set up right on the WINTERGREENS I highly doubt was lying to us. The evidence was there and we had pics of several different age groups of bucks all way up into January and febuary months using it. Great product and we plan on doubling our WINTERGREENS plot this coming season.

    Amazing

Posted by A.R. Wisconsin on 25th Jan 2017

Amazing how much the winter greens attract the deer . I had my doubts at first, they just weren't eating it. The crop looked amazing 2-3' high not kidding either never seen anything like it . The fall was warm for Wisconsin and it didn't freeze till November, first time ever that has happen. I asked other people about it , they said just wait .They started eating it December 10, 20/30 deer if not more on the food plot every night.

    The cat's meow

Posted by Derek B on 17th Jan 2017

Winter Greens is the cat's meow. It provides excellent late bow and gun season green forage when other stuff is gone. It increases deer activity in our plots and hunting area during the season. while also decreasing winter kill of our herds by increasing the deer health and size.

    Great growth and usage

I never review a seed or attractant and give it a 5-star review. Once I kill a Boone and Crockett buck over it I will. You got close this past season. Planted WinterGreens and it started growing quickly. Just as you say in your info, as soon as we got a hard frost the deer started mauling it. It was a split 2 acre field and we had over 15 deer in it every day. Mostly doe but a few bucks, which is normal. When the rut hit our area I was fortunate to kill a 166-2/8" monster. The biggest deer we have ever seen on the property. Thanks for a great product and for anyone considering this I highly recommend it.
