Whitetail Oats Plus

This was the second time I used this product with great results. The first time I planted a 1/4 acre plot in the center of a timothy/clover field. It germinated extremely fast and the deer ate it even faster. It never managed to get taller than 3 inches because the deer were in it at all times of the day according to the trail cameras. My second try with the White tail oats I doubled the size of the oats section to 1/2 acre in the same field. Same results just more deer! Best attractant product I've used for the early seasons.

I can't honestly review the last particular purchase of oats as I just purchased the bag and won't use it until the fall. However I have used these oats in the past and the deer love them and you can count on them hammering the field almost everyday. They spend a lot of time in them and it is a great product for that hidy hole spot you want the deer to come to prior to moving out into a destination plot. Deer also visit these oats during the mid day. I have had spectacular luck with them. Planting these oats gives me confidence the deer will once again be on my property this fall during season. Thank you Whitetail Institute for a great product.

We planted Oats Plus in August. Within 2 weeks the oats were 3-4 inches tall. All season long the food plot saw heavy activity. We had everything from whitetails to black bears and wild turkeys on the game cams. Everything loves it. I have already purchased seed for this season. I can't wait until time to plant it again.

I have been useing this product for several years and the deer just like to graze in the patch. I plant it next to other items and they end up in the oats.

Planted the Oats as a nurse crop described in Whitetail News and am I glad we did. We received way more rain over an extended period of time. While rain is usually a timely Blessing, this year I believe it caused the "smaller seed products" to either rot or drown in the plots. The oats however saved the year. It came up strong and lasted the whole season - Oct. - late Dec. We had a fantastic season due to the Oats. I love the articles in Whitetail News and implement to my situation. I am a dedicated Whitetail Institute seed user, great products, fair price, great customer service and always deer in the end.

I have not seen deer run into a field to eat until I planted Whitetail Oats Plus.

I followed the planting instructions including getting a soil sample. Luckily I got some rain soon after planting. The oats germinated and start growing fast. I put a wire basket in the middle of the plot. The oats in the basket are around 2 feet tall, and the rest of the food plot the oats are only around 6 inches tall. The deer are gobbling it up! Got lots of trail cam pics.
