Imperial Whitetail Oats Plus is an oat-based product that is extremely attractive and winter hardy.

When a university tested different oat varieties for grain production, the grazing pressure by deer on one specific variety was so heavy it was eliminated from the tests.  Whitetail Institute found out about this variety and its testing proved that the oat was highly preferred by deer because of the oat’s high sugar content and that it is very winter-hardy. The result is Imperial Whitetail Oats Plus – the PREMIUM oat planting for deer that establishes and grows quickly, contains high levels of sugar for maximum attraction, and provides enhanced cold-tolerance.

    I have been using whitetail Oats for several years now for my fall plantings for a couple reasons: #1 because it germinates so quickly, usually within a week, it begins to attract deer to my new food plots well before the fall archery season, and #2 because it serves as a great nurse crop for Whitetail Clover seeded at the same time. I'm sticking with Whitetail Oats!

    I always plant whitetail oats with clover and I use it for a summer cover crop. Deer love it and so do I. I've used other brands but the deer don't seem to like them as much as whitetail oats

    This really does work as advertised. It grows quickly and attracts deer. They hammer these oats. I have planted other "forage oats" before, and never got the results that I get from Whitetail Oats. Great product that I will continue to use in our food plots.

    Great product, came up fast and the deer started hammering it, planted beets and greens as well, which the deer hit later. We have had several months of little to no rain here is SW Oklahoma and the deer are still using it daily.
