Imperial Whitetail Oats Plus is an oat-based product that is extremely attractive and winter hardy.

When a university tested different oat varieties for grain production, the grazing pressure by deer on one specific variety was so heavy it was eliminated from the tests.  Whitetail Institute found out about this variety and its testing proved that the oat was highly preferred by deer because of the oat’s high sugar content and that it is very winter-hardy. The result is Imperial Whitetail Oats Plus – the PREMIUM oat planting for deer that establishes and grows quickly, contains high levels of sugar for maximum attraction, and provides enhanced cold-tolerance.

    Oat grew amazing and deer love them. Bags were ripped and destroyed during shipping and the institute replaced all damaged products. Thank you for a great product.

    Planted on September 5 right in the heart of the planting recommendation times. Good germination and growth so far. Deer are on the plot, but it’s early and there is a lot of corn and beans still standing. Once they are harvested I expect much greater pressure on the oats.
