Whitetail Oats Plus

Great results. I planted on August 22 in the Piedmont of SC. I did soil test and the recommended lime and fertilizer application. Came up great after small rain and oats are at 6-8 inches now. Great product!

I planted this last year for the first time ever. I mixed it with wheat. The seed bed was well prepared and I used a Cultipacker before and after spreading the seed. My fields never looked better and the deer seemed to love it.

Planted whitetail oats in late August in the pacific nw to attract and feed blacktail deer. In three weeks the plot looks like an ocean of green. Roosevelt elk are hitting the plot regularly, even bedding down in it midday. Jury still out on the blacktail but the oats grow like a weed.

planted right for rains mid August . Both and Oats and Ambush ( with oats) came up right away . look great -best looking food plots this fall.

Planted Whitetail Institute Oats Plus this year. They are coming up great. Planted them with Tall Tine Tubers and act as a great cover crop. Have plenty of deer and turkey in the oats daily.

With cooler than average temps and rainfall way above average I took a chance and planted a little early. After a soil test and prepping the ground and fertilizing, it was up four days after planting. The deer have been in it ever since. The deer plot is just behind our barn, at times the deer cut through the yard to get to the dinner table. Starting to leave a path worn in the grass. We have planted Whitetail Oats for years and would never be without.

Excellent forage for fall hunting. Deer come in to this plot from all directions to feed before sunset. I guarantee all my hunters an adult doe from this plot every time.

I plant this with winter rye mid sept and by late nov-early dec every deer in the county is eating it to the dirt. Awesome stuff and grows fast.

We planted this late in the recommended planting season to to weather constraints. It grew great in both plots but better in the one that we used a cultipacker. Rarely did any of us hunt this spot without there being deer. Easy to grow and very attractive to deer. We are 70 miles SW of Nashville and as of March 13th the deer are still eating on it.
