It took six years to develop the new turnip variety in Imperial Whitetail TALL TINE TUBERS. The result is the most attractive turnip variety the Whitetail Institute could develop or has ever tested. TALL TINE TUBERS food plot provides two forage sources for late fall and winter. First is foliage that grows very quickly and becomes sweeter with the fall frosts. Second are sweet tubers that can grow as large as a softball and delivers an additional food source through the winter.

  • Includes Tall Tine Turnip – a NEW TURNIP VARIETY genetically developed by Whitetail Institute
  • SIX YEARS in research, development and testing
  • Two food sources - foliage above ground and tubers underground
  • EXTREMELY drought and cold tolerant
  • Establishes and grows rapidly

Whitetail Institute's Imperial TALL TINE TUBERS is designed to establish and grow quickly, produce lots of tonnage, and attract and hold deer during the early and late hunting seasons.

    Deer loved them.

Planted Tall Tine Tublers and Extreme and the deer loved them. Great products. Please keep producing them. Seeing bigger, healthier deer. Nicer and bigger buck racks.

If someone thinks food plots don't make a difference, they are crazy.

    Posted by HT-VA on 2nd Feb 2015

The 2 prior hunting seasons I would be lucky to see 3 or 4 bucks all season and a few does. I hunted a Tall Tine Tuber plot mixed with Whitetail Oats opening day and saw 8 bucks and 6 does that afternoon and I can only see part of the food plot. This was just one afternoon, and this is only a small part of the bucks that paraded around my plots over the whole season. I had some great bucks show up and was able to take my first mature buck off my place this season. If someone thinks food plots don't make a difference, they are crazy.

    tall tine tubers always produce

The tall tine tubers and winter greens always produce. Ground will be frozen solid but herds of deer still dig up the huge turnips and bulbs.

Whitetail Institute products are Second to none

The Tall Tine Tublers and Whitetail Clover and other WI seed products are helping our fawns survive the harsh winters in NY. We are also seeing larger body and antlered bucks. We thank WI for providing great products and customer service.

    VERY HAPPY

Posted by Tom D, Louisiana on 15th Dec 2014

Wanted to show you a Pic of one my Tall Tine Tuber plots but I have no where to put it in this format. I'm very impressed with their durability. We've had mostly drought conditions since we planted on September 20th, but once the plants germinated they not only survived, but grew well with minimum moisture. These warm spells have helped, too! Great product, Man!

Great food source from fall through winter

Posted by Hank T. on 10th Dec 2014

I have been planting Tall Tine Tubers in my food plots along side my Whitetail Oats and Whitetail Clover. I love this product because it gives the deer a great food source from early fall right through the winter months. I like to plant at least 2 different food types in each of my plots, to add to the attractiveness of the plots. Another great product to work with...Thanks!

I have used tall tine tubers for three seasons now. They grow great the deer love the leavs in the early fall and then they dig the turnips up in the winter in the spring my food plot looks like it was tilled up from them digging
