    Great product

Posted by R Stephens on 22nd Mar 2018

Had 2 Tall tine tuber plots, one large and one small, could not keep the deer out of it. Deer wiped out the small one around December and the larger plot was good into Feb.Must have had some hungry deer because they didn't wait until 1st frost to hit it. Whitetail Institute always gives good customer service that always answers any questions and a great product and tool to use for finding sheds.

WoW great attraction in Cold and Snow

Posted by Midwest Mark on 27th Jan 2018

We have planted it several times but we really got some cold and some snow in late Dec and early Jan and OMG did the deer come to the turnips even though we had dry weather for weeks after planting. as expected the tops and bulbs were less developed but they sure attracted the deer.

I planted and 1st rain was Harvey. 9.5" rain. Support from Whitetail Institute has been excellent. They have been top shelf. Jury is out on final seed recruitment.

    Growing like a weed

Posted by Unknown on 30th Aug 2017

I broadcast Tall tine Tubers on August 13. Never did a soil sample. I put some lime & 19-19-19 Fertilizer on it. It did get some flea beetles , I sprayed that & they are all gone. It is 4" high and a thick mass of greens. Less than 3 weeks. Probably planted it too thick, but first food plot I ever tried.

    Great Growing

Posted by Ken F. on 29th Aug 2017

Planted on a Monday and with the couple days of rain they were up by Friday, couldn't believe it. After reaching a few inches the deer are feeding on it. Very happy with this planting and will use it again.

Great product, I mixed this in with wheat for several years now, done it around the beginning of September and was perfect to hold deer to my property during the worst part of winter!
