It took six years to develop the new turnip variety in Imperial Whitetail TALL TINE TUBERS. The result is the most attractive turnip variety the Whitetail Institute could develop or has ever tested. TALL TINE TUBERS food plot provides two forage sources for late fall and winter. First is foliage that grows very quickly and becomes sweeter with the fall frosts. Second are sweet tubers that can grow as large as a softball and delivers an additional food source through the winter.

    With proper soil prep (follow the directions) and mother nature providing adequate rain you can expect a high yield crop that the deer will LOVE! This is a go to for our plots.

    I have planted deer plots for years with good success but these turnips are the best best I have ever experienced. Highly recommended.

    Planted in late August. I’m in southern Va. Turnips are massive and deer are already eating the tops.

    Planted in Northern Wisconsin and they came in great. Deer are on the greens and nice tubers in the ground.

    Have always struggled planting barasicas until this year used tall tine tubers followed the instructions on the bag and had them grow up to 18 inches tall highly recommend.
