Sometimes, the best spots for food plots can be the toughest places to maneuver heavy equipment. If you can get there by 4-wheeler or foot and the area gets 3 to 4 hours of sunlight a day, the Imperial No-Plow food plot can give you a hardy, fast-growing crop of highly nutritious and attractive forage. Whitetail Institute's Imperial No-Plow deer food plot seed is a high-protein annual that can provide up to 9 months of attraction and nutrition for optimal deer growth and antler development -- and preparation can be done with as little as hand tools.

  • Includes specially selected exclusive clovers, brassica, WINA 412 Radish and other forages
  • Highly attractive annual forage specifically designed for areas hard to access with farming equipment (logging roads, remote clearings, etc.)
  • Can be planted either in a fully prepared seedbed, or with minimal ground preparation sufficient to establish good seed-to-soil contact
  • EXTREMELY drought and cold tolerant
  • Establishes quickly and grows rapidly
  • These No-Plow clover seeds tolerate as little as only 3-4 hours of broken or filtered sunlight a day

Imperial No-Plow food plot can go where your tractor won't.

Easy to plant easy to grow

Planted 2weeks ago in Sw wash state for blackmail deer. Growth apparent and recent rains should be the spark to rapid increase in production. So far as advertised.

Turned logging roads into a fatal funnel

Posted by Scott S. on 4th Jul 2016

We had our property select cut last year. This gave us access to some areas we never really were able to get to easily because of the logging roads they made. We thought why not plant those to hold deer on the property. We were able to lightly disk with a tractor now, and planted with No Plow this spring. It came up nicely, looks lush and green. It is getting hotter this summer and we see some of the grasses have died, but underneath lush green morsels for them eat. Little did we realize all those logging roads came together near one of our favorite stands. The deer are using these the roads and all converge at my favorite box blind. Can't wait for bow season this year!

    Regeneration

Posted by Jared K on 28th Jun 2016

I posted a review on No Plow on April 9, and I’d like to share another quick review on No Plow. After reading several reviews on PowerPlant, my wife and I actually removed some of our No Plow to make room for some PowerPlant. We hated to do it, because No Plow’s radishes and large leaf brassicas had quickly grown to enormous sizes. So we ran the disc over some No Plow, and planted some PowerPlant. Less than a month after planting the PowerPlant, when the PowerPlant was barely a couple inches tall, things became very interesting. The No Plow was growing back! Not only was it growing back, but deer were hitting it. Fast forward one week… the No Plow that the deer had eaten was regenerating. To sum it up, we planted No Plow in late February / early March, a couple months later we disced some of the No Plow down to bare dirt, we planted some PowerPlant, the No Plow regrew, deer hit the No Plow, and then the No Plow regenerated….. …. I’ve never seen anything like that in my life! Thank you Whitetail Institute!

    Great product

Posted by Central WV on 30th May 2016

Have used No Plow four 4-5 years, has always worked great on my fall plots especially this past year, deer and turkey grazed on it throughout majority of the winter. This is first time I've used for spring and also in an existing plot from previous fall, has only been about 4 weeks but this has been best results yet! We only have access to a small ground hog disc and atv so this product makes you look like a genius regardless of what equipment you have access too.

    Huge Leaves & Rapid Growth

Posted by Jared K on 9th Apr 2016

I was raised on my grandpa's farm, which included a huge garden of vegetables. That said, I have never seen plant leaves as big as the leaves on No Plow’s radishes and brassicas. About a month ago, my wife and I planted No Plow, and we are amazed at No Plow’s rapid growth & tolerance to cold weather. We used Whitetail Institute’s soil test kit, followed the directions from the lab results, and contacted Whitetail Institute with our questions… other than that… we just needed some rain! Oh yeah… the deer seem to be impressed with it, too : ) Thank you Whitetail Institute!

    Essiest to grow!!

Posted by Edgar on 20th Mar 2016

Unbelievable results, poor soil, sandy, weedy, and dry. I put down the no plow a day before a good rain, I went back to the field two weeks later and I was floored by the results. Deer and turkey love it, can't wait to plant no plow in other areas of my property.
