Service not product but product too

Posted by Matthew T.-MI on 28th Dec 2015

I could not find a way to review your customer service so I'm posting here. My dad and I have planted plots with little success for 8 years. They grew but not very well. My dad got mad last season because we only saw 8 deer all season 7 doe and a 4pter. He told me to figure out what was happening and I was put in charge of our plots. I called around and never found anyone who wanted to do anything but sell me seed. I called one of your guys and he spent an hour with me going through the whole planting process. I watched your DVD several times and this fall planted my first truly successful plots. One was Pure attraction and the other was the whitetail oats. With your help and a soil test it all came together. We don't have much land to plant but I will never plant anyone else's stuff. Both my dad and I killed our biggest deer ever and let at least 10 smaller bucks go. Thanks for taking time with a young hunter with not much land. And by the way I told my friends about you and they have called and will be trying your stuff too. I am starting a hunting club at our school this spring and at our first meeting I am showing the DVD.

A lot more and bigger deer

Posted by Bill B. on 11th Dec 2015

We started using Whitetail clover 3 years ago in IL and things have gotten better each year. This past season was our best ever. We see 20-30 deer on our food plots almost every day when and our neighbors say they are seeing very few.. We killed 6 great bucks with 3 of them being personal best ever.

    FIRST food plot ever

Posted by New York Hunter on 9th Dec 2015

I put in a food plot for the first time last spring. I went with the clover. I did the soil test put down what they recommended. (I could get everything because NY has a band on some of the fertilizers). I did get what was close. I did everything that was recommended and with in 3 weeks my clover was 12 inches high. this food plot was not a killing plot just used it to give the deer what they needed. always had deer in the plot, even with our trucks parked 20 yards away during the hunting season.

I killed a 168 inch buck in it that weighed 226 lbs dressed. Not bad for Virginia. Keep doing what you do!

    Seed Storage

    Posted by A.L. on 17th Sep 2015

I have tried several of your products over the years and had good success. I didn't know that seed could be stored. I did buy some whitetail clover several years ago and I just found about a 1/2 gallon of seed. I planted a 18" x 25' row of it in a plot area to see if it was still good and most of it came up. It is about ankle high.

    Awesome

Planted 3 acres. Get a soil sample first and follow the recommendations to the letter and you too will have a lush clover field full of deer.

    IWC is a deer magnet.

Posted by R. Biddinger / Michigan on 28th Aug 2015

Planted IWC early August. After one week it was growing really well. After three weeks a potion of the plot had clover height of two plus inches. What was really significant was trail cam photos showing deer eating the clover and to my surprise among those deer were three very nice eight points. My first attempt at planting a food plot, totally satisfied. BTW I purchased the soil test kit from the Institute sent in the sample and followed the results of the test report. Whitetail Institute, awesome in all respects.
