Want to plant a perennial food plot in slightly less than ideal conditions?

The result of years of research and development, Imperial Whitetail Extreme is a seed blend that will enable you to plant a successful perennial food plot in slightly poorer soil. Whitetail Institute's Imperial Extreme excels with less rainfall than other perennials. The Extreme perennial food plot mix is an excellent choice for ground that might otherwise be less productive.

  • Includes the highly attractive and extremely drought tolerant Persist Forb developed by Whitetail Institute specifically for deer
  • Includes WINA-100 perennial forage chicory – vastly more tender and palatable to deer than traditional, more waxy textured chicories
  • Extremely sweet, durable, versatile and highly attractive to deer
  • Extremely cold and heat tolerant
  • Can tolerate lower annual rainfall levels than other perennials
  • Provides up to 44% antler-building protein
  • Coated with RainBondTM for enhanced seedling survivability
  • Perennial - Can last up to 5 years from a single planting

Note: Good soils with a neutral pH and higher annual rainfall can produce even better performance.

Extreme grew well in sandy conditions and attracted deer and turkeys.

I planted this spring and just had to cut it. I have deer in it with fawns eating all times in the day.

Works great for me and the deer

Posted by Tod T.-PA on 3rd Nov 2016

I planted your Extreme this past fall and while it developed a little slow with the dry fall it has exploded with the last few rains. Deer are tearing the field up. Had 16 deer in my plot this afternoon but couldn't get one in bow range. Sooner or later they will get close enough for me to shoot. When they do I'll forward a pic. Thanks to my friend who recommended your products to me and to Whitetail Institute for offering great products. By the way they also love the Winter Peas Plus.

    3rd time is the charm

Posted by Gene A on 29th Sep 2016

I've planted Extreme 2 times before on my PA hunting ground. I had mixed results the first 2 times. The deer were in it a lot but it never seemed to look as good as the pictures I've seen. I talked to one of the Whitetail Institute guys this past spring and he told me to do follow-up fertilizing and that is what I did this time and the extreme looks as good as the pictures in the ads. And yes the deer are on it as much and probably more.

    MY FAVORITE!!!

I've tried all your perennial products and have had good success. My favorite is Extreme. As long as you keep the weeds under control in early spring with your herbicides and fertilize annually, nothing beats it. Still love the others but my fav is EXTREME.

    Great in harsh conditions

    Posted by NY_Mike on 22nd Aug 2016

I planted this is rocky, clay soil in New York's Southern Tier. It rained after I planted it and then we had a 3 month drought. The plot established itself and has taken off. I will be planting more of this in the spring in all of my "problem" fields
