Want to plant a perennial food plot in slightly less than ideal conditions?

The result of years of research and development, Imperial Whitetail Extreme is a seed blend that will enable you to plant a successful perennial food plot in slightly poorer soil. Whitetail Institute's Imperial Extreme excels with less rainfall than other perennials. The Extreme perennial food plot mix is an excellent choice for ground that might otherwise be less productive.

  • Includes the highly attractive and extremely drought tolerant Persist Forb developed by Whitetail Institute specifically for deer
  • Includes WINA-100 perennial forage chicory – vastly more tender and palatable to deer than traditional, more waxy textured chicories
  • Extremely sweet, durable, versatile and highly attractive to deer
  • Extremely cold and heat tolerant
  • Can tolerate lower annual rainfall levels than other perennials
  • Provides up to 44% antler-building protein
  • Coated with RainBondTM for enhanced seedling survivability
  • Perennial - Can last up to 5 years from a single planting

Note: Good soils with a neutral pH and higher annual rainfall can produce even better performance.

    Awesome product

Posted by Reed- Columbia SC on 30th Jul 2016

This is our 5th year with Extreme. We're replanting a plot that had a competitors product in it last year. It was basically ryegrass that grew well but the deer didn't use it. My secret to success with the Extreme is keep the weeds and grasses out in the spring with your herbicides and fertilizer twice a year. Spring and fall. Keep up the good work. You should make this where pictures can be uploaded. My plot should be in your magazine.

    Deer activity is awesome

    Posted by Jim-NC on 24th Jul 2016

This is my second planting of Extreme and the product works almost too good. The deer are hitting my 3/4 acre plot so well they don't let it fully develop. I'm going to fertilize when I plant and then twice more each year. My neighbor planted some and he does this and his plots are a little thicker than mine. It may be just an over-grazing issue. Anyway, the Extreme is doing great but no one is planting around me and I'm feeding their deer. Hopefully they will show up this fall. We've seen 3 trophies this summer. Great product.

    I could eat it myself

I replanted a small plot with a combination of Extreme and Fusion and the results are remarkable. My Central Kentucky farm is covered with heavy clay/limestone soil. Looks so lush I'm tempted to sit down in it with a bottle of ranch dressing and chow down myself.

    A product I stumbled on.

Posted by Anderson B. - PA on 6th Mar 2016

I have planted your products for several years with good results in almost every year. I have a great neighbor and we practice QDM together. We don't shoot small bucks. I had already planted last year and he told me about his success with Extreme. I planted a one acre field. It was slow to develop like most perennials but the deer liked it.....a lot. I have ordered 3 acres to plant this spring. If this does as well as the last planting I will raise my rating to 5 and I rarely give anything a 5 star rating.

My friends told me I was crazy

    Posted by Ollie-IL on 22nd Feb 2016

I have have planted Extreme twice in the past 5 years and the plots have thrived. I'm in the Midwest where you can drive for miles seeing hundreds of acres of corn and beans. My two neighbors told me that I was wasting my time and money because there was plenty of corn and beans for the deer. They are right other than after the crops are harvested and nothing is left for the deer to eat......other than my Extreme plots. I see deer all year long in my plots but after the corn and beans are harvested my plots fill up with deer every day. I need to plant a few more acres to handle the pressure. I am considering WinterGreens. I have a neighbor that has bragged on it for the past two years.

    Interesting product

    Posted by TGS-OK on 28th Dec 2015

Planted Extreme two years ago. It started slow and your staff told me that was normal, give it some time. It kept on getting better and for the past year and a half I have an awesome plot. I fertilize lightly 3x each year and the plot is a damn deer magnet. Tell Frank thanks for his advise.

Good attraction and production for me

    Posted by Gio-NY on 5th Dec 2015

I can't review the bag I just bought but I can tell you the product works. I planted my first Extreme field 8 years ago and it's been my "go to" plot since the first year. You have another winner in the WinterGreens. That's my late season honey hole. You guys are good at what you do. Thanks Gio.
