    Good for dry soil

Posted by Wes M. New Mexico on 21st Nov 2016

I live in New Mexico and we get very little rain during the year. I have tried different plantings and none have done very well. Last year I planted Chic Magnet and it grew well with less than 14" of rain. This fall we got a couple extra rains and the plants are green and thick. I have mule deer and many other animals eating in the plots almost every day. Thanks for making something that can take our climate.

    DRY SOIL WONDER

Posted by Thom B.-WV on 16th Nov 2016

My property is about 1/2 step from pure sand. I have struggled with everything but ryegrass which didn't get much action from the deer during the season. My neighbor told me about your company and I called and spoke with a very nice guy, who pointed me to Chic Magnet. The pH and fertility were checked and adjusted according to WTI soil testing lab just as he recommended.....My plot is beautiful and deer are in it every day. Thanks for a wonderful product and WTI customer service. I had almost given up but now I'm excited again.

    Survived with almost no rain

Posted by Julio S.- So TX on 28th Dec 2015

I will admit I was hesitant. I bought a bag this fall with my Whitetail Oats just to see what happened. I live south of Dallas and we planted in Sept. Got one rain and it germinated and we went 7 weeks with not one drop. The chicory kept growing. I don't understand it. Even the oats slowed down but once the rains in October hit it exploded and so did my deer herd. It was our best hunting season yet. Killed a 149 6/8th 8 pt. Biggest on the ranch to date. I know I not supposed to plant it in the spring but I just ordered 2 more bags.

Finally got a couple weeks of drier weather for dozer to open 2 acres of bottom land. We cultivated , disked and threw Chick Magnet out by hand on 8/15 we got .10 inch rain 2 days latter and by 8/22 there's a green color to the field. In good southern Indiana soil this stuff works well.

    It's a Deer Magnet!

Deer love it. It attracts them soon after it starts growing right on through summer. And with proper care you can get several years out of it.

    I've seen it.

I have used clover and chicory before and watched deer raise there heads with a mouthful of chicory. I was stunned to see how they much they would eat in the field. now I have a hunting lease and I'm lacing this chicmag. in a clover field and can't wait to see the results this fall!
