    It grows in the woods!

Posted by Unknown on 21st Sep 2017

I've wanted to try a feed plot for quite a while and, after reading some guys talking about Bowstand on the web, decided to try it. My stand is in a forested area where 3 trails intersect. There is very little sunlight, but I planted where patches of sun are stronger. Much to my surprise, this stuff germinated and is growing! Within a couple of weeks I started getting pics of deer browsing on the young plants. Bowstand works!

    Very Pleased!!

Posted by Todd on 6th Jan 2017

I am in Mississippi and in the middle of pines. A road that the trucks came to harvest trees was a East to West facing possibility for a plot. Decided to try Bow Stand and am very pleased. Planted a day before rain. 3 days later germination. Had camera on this plot for the last 2 months. Deer love it!! I have pictures of the entire plot underwater after heavy rains. Water drained and the stuff is still growing. I followed the instructions on the bag and really am pleased with the results. I just wish I had put up a cage so I could see what they have eaten.

    looking forward to November

This product is as billed. With no soil test and minimal ground prep we had growth within the first week. The Sun definately improves growth speed as this test plot is half and half. Of coarse the half that receives more sunlight is double the growth of the shaded area. The deer found it in approx. 10 days and now are frequenting the plot. Good stuff Whitetail Institute,we will be calling on you in the spring as we plan to sow 3 acres,God willing of coarse!

    Very Good Product

Follow planting directions and you will have a great food plot. Do not plant when it`s hot and dry. Just prior to rains, disc area, drive four wheeler or similar over site to gently compact soil then seedd, then run four wheeler back over site to gently push seeds into the soil then wait for rains.

    This product really works!!

I planted my imperial bowstand plot about 3 weeks ago now. We haven't had much rain so I went a week after our 1st rain. I already had 4 or 5 inches of growth in most spots. Very impressive considering the lack of rain we have got. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who isn't sure about food plots. My food plot is in a shady remote spot. This plot has really taken off and shocked me!!

First time I have tried a food plot and have been hunting for more than 40 years. Planted it late july and is coming in nice. I hope they like it.

    Really impressed

Broadcast his seed on a site with minimal preparation. Cut back chest high broadlieaf weeds with a trimmer. Came back a week later and sprayed the regrowth with roundup. A little over a week after that, I aggressively raked the dead material to expose the soil, and than broadcast the seed along with a bag or two of lime. Prayed for rain. A week later we got it and the plot has absolutely taken off, even in partial shade. I am very impressed.
