At Whitetail Institute, innovation drives everything we do. One of our top priorities is developing advanced genetic lines of field peas that can thrive under challenging environmental conditions—especially in hot, dry climates. These resilient varieties are designed not only to meet the nutritional needs of Whitetail deer but also to deliver consistent performance across diverse regions.

To achieve this, we conduct rigorous, real-world evaluations. By testing across multiple environments, we gain a comprehensive understanding of how each variety performs, allowing us to identify the strongest genetic lines and refine our breeding strategies for maximum success.

Our mission is straightforward: create field pea varieties that deer prefer and that excel in difficult environments.
