Imperial Whitetail Beets & Greens features annual seed varieties that are designed to work together to attract and hold deer throughout the fall and winter.

These include the Whitetail Institute’s proprietary kale, turnip and radish varieties, as well as the sweet attractiveness of sugar beets. These components are included in the Beets & Greens food plot in ratios that Whitetail Institute testing has proven will provide abundant, highly attractive tonnage from early fall through late winter, as well as tubers to help deer through the harsh winter months. Designed for planting in the fall, Beets & Greens establishes and grows quickly.

    Blown away

Posted by JA- Maine on 2nd Dec 2018

Our season just ended and although we did not fill our tags with any big bucks it wasn’t because we didn’t have some opportunities.... anyway, just wanted to share that we had the earliest snowfall that I can remember here in Maine, and we currently have around 26” of snow on the ground and the deer are still in the plots everyday. They’re digging through the snow to get to the bulbs of the Beets & Greens. I’m absolutely blown away that they’re wading through this heavy deep snow to dig up the radishes and turnips! Anyway, I was always sold on your seed mix but this went beyond my expectations. Just wanted to share that....

Update to 22" of rain plot

Posted by Tom T. on 8th Nov 2018

Ok I just got done with 2 weeks of bow hunting. When the wind was right and I hunted this plot, the amount of deer in this food source was amazing! Cams are showing deer are in 24/7 eating and eating. They have barely started to eat the beets so I am confident the deer will have plenty of reason to visit this plot for the opening of gun season in 1 week. Just an amazing product.

Mostly survived 22 inches of rain in 3 days

Posted by Tom T. on 11th Sep 2018

I planted a 1.5 acre plot in Central Wisconsin July 7th. It came up very fast and trail cams captured deer in the plot almost immediately. After 6 weeks the plot was lush and pics showed deer with mouthfuls of this stuff. Beets are visible as you walk through the field. Unfortunately the last week of August we were hit with 22" of rain in 3 days. Yes 22" inches. I visited the plot 2 days ago and was surprised to see that the majority of the plot survived. Granted I planted in well drained area and the only section that died was a low spot on the edge of the field. I expected to see total devastation and a dead field. Nope. Deer were eating it the morning I checked the cams. Very impressed with the hardiness of the plot. I'm a customer for life.

I hate to sound like a commercial but Whitetail Institute has the best customer service ever, they have taught me how to grow a food plot and the steps it takes from A to Z.

    MY NEW FAVORITE PRODUCT

Posted by RAY C-TN on 17th Apr 2018

TRIED BEETS AND GREENS LAST FALL AND IT WAS INCREDIBLE. DEER IN THE PLOTS FROM LATE OCTOBER UNTIL IT WAS EATEN TO THE GROUND IN DECEMBER. WE DON'T HAVE A BIG DEER HERD BUT WE HAD MORE DEER IN THIS 2 ACRE FIELD THAN WE HAVE SEEN ON OUR ENTIRE PROPERTY IN A YEAR. VERY IMPRESSED. PLANTING AN EXTRA ACRE THIS YEAR. I HOPE IT'S ENOUGH. BY THE WAY YOUR WHITETAIL CLOVER IS A TURKEY MAGNET. KILLED MY 2ND LONGBEARD THIS MORNING.
