Grasses and weeds can crowd out your carefully planted perennial food plots. Using the right grass herbicide for clover food plots can help ensure that your plots perform their best and last much longer. Whitetail Institute Arrest Max Herbicide selectively controls most grasses without harming clover, alfalfa, chicory, or any Whitetail Institute perennial food plot.

  • Specifically developed for food plots
  • Controls a broad range of annual and perennial grasses
  • Easily applied by hand, 4-wheeler or tractor sprayer
  • Safe for use with Whitetail Institute perennial forages and with any clover or alfalfa plantings
  • Spray clover safe herbicide once grasses are actively growing in the spring or summer.
  • Adding Surefire Crop Oil Plus to the spray tank can increase effectiveness of Arrest Max on perennial or mature grasses
  • Spraying grasses in their early stages of growth can eliminate the need for follow-up applications.
  • New chemistry is more effective on a broader group of grasses and the cost per acre is significantly less than the original Arrest.
  • Arrest Max grass herbicide is rainfast in one hour.

    Arrest Max-Warning

Posted by Walter J. Indiana on 16th Jun 2016

If you don't want to kill your grasses in your plot, don't use Arrest Max. HAHA I have struggled with grasses in my clover and alfalfa fields for the past 3 years. I thought mowing would save me some money and get rid of the grasses. I was wrong. I broke down and used your Arrest in early spring as you say and the grasses are 99% gone. Didn't believe it and now I see I that it's cheaper to kill them wiith your herbicide than mow and accomplish nothing but shorter grasses. I'll recommend this to anyone.

    Arrest is the best

Posted by Kenny M. on 16th Jun 2016

I just recently contacted whitetail institute and told them i had a plot of fusion that had oats and some johnson grass in it. They give me the amount to use for the size plot i have. When it came in i mixed like was told and sprayed the plot. Went back to the plot 3 weeks later and was amazed how good my clover looked in the fusion and chickory and all the grasses was brown . This is a great product that is for real.

    You have to be kidding.

Why don't you allow photos to be posted here. I appliedd your Arrest Max to my clover/alfalfa field that was completely overrun with grass. After 3 weeks every grass was dead. I think a place to post pictures would help you sell more product. The product words just like you say and I would recommend it to anyone with grass in their food plots.

Arrest Max for Clover and Extreme

Posted by Dave G. on 25th May 2016

I currently have 3 clover and two Extreme plots going. Location is East Texas with plenty of moisture but very acidic soil. We grow undesirable weeds quite well. I applied Arrest Max and Surefire oil at recommended rates three weeks ago and am very pleased with the results. I can now see my plots and fertilize desirable plants as we are having a very wet spring. I am sure to see my fawns , does and bucks enjoying the improvements to these feeding plots this summer.
