Grasses and weeds can crowd out your carefully planted perennial food plots. Using the right grass herbicide for clover food plots can help ensure that your plots perform their best and last much longer. Whitetail Institute Arrest Max Herbicide selectively controls most grasses without harming clover, alfalfa, chicory, or any Whitetail Institute perennial food plot.

  • Specifically developed for food plots
  • Controls a broad range of annual and perennial grasses
  • Easily applied by hand, 4-wheeler or tractor sprayer
  • Safe for use with Whitetail Institute perennial forages and with any clover or alfalfa plantings
  • Spray clover safe herbicide once grasses are actively growing in the spring or summer.
  • Adding Surefire Crop Oil Plus to the spray tank can increase effectiveness of Arrest Max on perennial or mature grasses
  • Spraying grasses in their early stages of growth can eliminate the need for follow-up applications.
  • New chemistry is more effective on a broader group of grasses and the cost per acre is significantly less than the original Arrest.
  • Arrest Max grass herbicide is rainfast in one hour.

Planted Chic Magnet this year on a 1/2 Acer food plot. Ordered Max Arrest knowing there would be grass growing . Let grass grow for several weeks which helped shade Chic Magnet from the hot sun. Sprayed plot and went back 2 weeks later and all the grass was dead and plot was looking good. Going to fertilize soon then plot should pay off come this deer season

Great way to get the most from your plot.

Arrest max really is a great way of getting the most out of your food plot. I spayed it in my Imperial Clover plot nestled in a dense draw that was about half native grass and half clover. My intention was to give the clover a better chance of spreading with less competition. After 2 weeks the grass is mostly gone and the clover is taking over. I am very happy with the results and will always use Arrest Max in the future for grass control.

Do not be skeptical like I was

So I hit my plots with Arrest Max and, I gotta tell you, I didn't see immediate results. Anyhow, I was told to give it about another 1-3 weeks. So I did. Wow!! What an improvement!!! This stuff works as noted. I am very pleased; which is not easy to do.
